My husband and I drive past this place on York Rd all the time but have never stopped. The parking lot is always full to the top! So tonight on a whim we decided to pull and stop. Now we were a bit scared of a long wait because of how full the parking lot was. But to our surprise we were seated right away and there was still plenty of open tables. However, when we walked past the bar is was packed. THe dining room was about a little over 1/2 full. Now I am not sure who the man was (owner, manager, host, etc) but he was VERY energetic and told us that the menu had a nice spread and if there was something we wanted that wasn't on the menu the chef could do it for us.
We order the Crab Dip ($9) as an appetizer! OH MY GOD! One of the best crab dips I have ever had.
Then for dinner I had the Crabs, Crabs, Crabs: jumbo lump crab cake, crab imperial, & crabmeat cocktail ($22). The lumps of crab were HUGE and the crab cake was WONDERFUL! The Hubby had Philly Cheese Steak: thinly sliced steak, sauteed onions & provolone cheese ($8) and then added fries (came with chips).
The service was great! The food came out fast and the appetizer and meal had enough time in between (I hate when they serve one on top of the other). The bus boy even came over and filled our soda up and then the waitress brought us a pitcher of soda (we didn't even ask). The energetic guy checked in and made sure everything came out fine!
Now I have read a few reviews on other sites about how dirty the place was- but it looked good to me and they cleared the tables fast- even the tables that people had steam crabs.
I will go back again!
