Sofi's Crepes

333 N. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm
(410) 727-5737

I was at the Central Library Branch of Pratt Library for training and one of the people there suggested this place.

It is very small but cozy and has 2 tables outside. There was a nice crowd but not over crowded. I loved you were able to sit down and watch your crepe being made

I had the The Kevin Bacon: Turkey, Bacon, Cheese, & Tomatoes with 1000 Island Sauce $8. It was very good and very savory. My friend had the The Godfather: Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Salami, Roasted Red Peppers, & Spinach $8 and she said it was perfect and very good.

I haven't tried the location by the Charles Theater but would like to. I also would love to go back and try some of the sweet crepes!

DuClaw Bel Air

16A Bel Air South Parkway
Bel Air, MD 21015
Phone: 410-515-3222

After over 400 and some days DuClaw Bel Air is reopening in on 9/17 after fire and water damages. The place has a new look and a new menu (which I was excited to see because the food before was so so).

Well I had the opportunity to be an Early Bird and try the place out Friday 9/14 with the Hubby and another couple. Friday and Saturday they were giving their club members a FREE meal to give the servers a work out and reviews on the new menu. The deal was we were given 2 set up menus- 1 had appetizer and 2 entrees and the other had 2 entrees and a dessert- and we all got 2 free beers or house wines.

The 1st thing we tried was the Mozzarella Moons- which is basically mozzarella sticks in a crescent moon shaped topped with a nice chunky Mariana sauce. We learned they were homemade and not frozen. They were pretty good!!

Next my Hubby and I split the Carolina Pork BBQ Sandwich- Thinly sliced, slow-roasted pork tossed in Carolina BBQ sauce and served on a fresh roll. Served with homemade chips (weren't impressed with this chips). The sandwich was good but could has had more sauce and we weren't to keen on the bun. But over not bad.

Next we all split the Chicken Baltimore-Sautéed chicken breast topped with julienned prosciutto ham, garnished with lumb crab meat, and topped with Hollandaise sauce. Served over rice and tender asparagus. This was to die for! Oh my goodness it was GREAT! (but we all said we couldn't find the crabmeat nether-less it was YUMMY).

Then we all tried the Spicy Jambalaya-Sautéed chicken, shrimp and sausage tossed with peppers and onions in a Spicy Creole sauce, served over rice. Let me just say it was SPICY- and I mean spicy. Overall pretty yummy!

The other couple split some new burger (which I can recall the name and it isnt listed online)- started with a B. They commented on not liking the bun also and over the burger wasn't bad.

For dessert we all split the Creme Brulee cheesecake- very sweet. it was good but I didn't care for the crust.

So some free food- some out of this world and others so so plus some free beer we had a great time. They were busy. Our reservation was for 9 and we were told to check back in at 9:45. Overall, I am looking forward to the Beer release parties and trying out some new menu items. Reopening is 9/17

Buffalo Wild Wings

8200 Perry Hall Blvd
White Marsh, MD 21236
410.933.3311

A friend of ours won some football package for opening Ravens game last night were she got a limo ride for her and 5 others plus, special seat (leather lazy boy) and $135 food credit. She said the wings were great. So we tried it.

Today was Wings Tuesday for 40 cents each. They also had great lunch deals that were 6-8 bucks that included the drink.

I got the lunch deal Buffalitos- which is served on a soft taco shell and has chicken with sauce of my choice (I had mild but it had kick to it) and different cheeses, lettuce, salsa and your regular taco toppings. Instead of the tortilla chips with salsa I got the wedges which were yummy!

Hubby had the the lunch deal that was boneless wings withe mild sauce and the chips (which arent your normal chips they are these round french fries).

We got some wings since they were 40 cents- we got 6 Spicy Garlic and 6 Asian Zing- I loved them both but my favorite was the Asian Zing.

We WILL be going back- they had a lot of other things on the menu that sound great!!!!
