In my last post about this place we said we would never be going back again... well thought we would give it another go.
It was Baltimore Restaurant Week again and I let my Husband pick this place this time. After going over all the available menus online he thought that this menu appealed to him the most at the moment. So we said we would give it a second chance.
A lot of things were still horrible but I will something impressed me- let me started with the good:
We both started with the Maryland Crab Soup which a nice kick to it but was very yummy!
I had the Seafood Platter- Featuring shrimp, salmon, crab cake and lobster tail. Drizzled with lemon butter and balsamic glaze, served with toasted Orzo rice and the vegetable du jour. And I must say this was 10x better than the scallops I had last time we were there. The shrimp was sort of plain and tough but everything else was yummy!!!
For dessert I had this twice baked apple pie with cinnamon ice cream that was to die for. My husband had this chocolate peanut butter cheesecake that he said was rich but very tasty
I also tried one of Bellini drinks which was strong but tasty!
Now for the disapointments...
My Husband had the Ribeye Pan Seared to Temperature- With Kentucky bourbon and mushrooms. Served with roasted red potatoes and the vegetable du jour. He said he could cook a better steak at home (now it is a seafood place but they advertise their steak also).
We still had to pay and arm and a leg to park- we were thre and walking around for 3 hours and had to pay $18.
The wine glass were horrible again- "I was very put off because there wine glasses were VERY spotted! When you are against the water background the spots stick out like sore thumb."
I dont think we would go back unless it was Restaurant Week or we had a Gift Card
