Nuvo

I was out with a friend last night participating in the Federal Hill VIP Shop Crawl hosted by Baltimore Magazine. This event combines neighborhood shopping, exclusive sales, wine and cheese. Participating store in the neighborhood had pink balloon flying outside their entry and when you entered you were always greeted with a smile, cheese platter (some stores took it a step farther and supplied some other munchies) and a wonderful pink drink called Nuvo.

Nuvo is a drink from France and is a sparkling liqueur of vodka and French sparkling wine. The flavors also come from a touch of peach, strawberry, raspberry and passion fruit. It is a pink in color and is sweet to taste and created just for “her” (the bottle even says that).

A 375 ML bottle goes for around $29.99 but I found in on sale for $19.99 a bottle at the sites listed on the Nuvo homepage. The one site offers lower prices when you buy more than one bottle.

I had fun at the VIP Shop Crawl and got some good deals at Pandora’s Box (50 E. Cross St.) and Funky Beehive. I enjoyed Nuvo and all the hospitality. There are 2 more VIP Shop Crawls coming up:
