The Patisserie Poupon is one of the only few authentic French bakery in the Baltimore area. When you walk in your eyes may pop out of your head when you see the out of this world pastries and cakes.
My Husband was just Best Man this past weekend and the Bride and Groom got their cake from here. I am still working on finding out which cake it was they exactly got but it was chocolate with a raspberry filling. The look of the cake was such a sight to see it was hard to watch them cut it. (I will update this post once I find out the name of the cake).
My Husband and I picked up the cake for them Saturday morning (parking can be tricky) but where very impressed with everything we saw an tasted! I can't wait to go back and try some other things!

My aunt and uncle each got a cake from there this past weekend for their 50th birthdays celebration! Quite the outstanding purveyor for sweets!
We got our wedding cake from Patisserie Poupon. They have fantastic pastries, and I like their brioche as well. But I wouldn't say they are the only authentic French bakery in the area - what about Bonaparte? There's one in Fells Point and one in Savage Mill. The owners are French, from France, and they make some fabulous croissants.
