So based on a local’s advice to check this place out during there “buy 1 entrée get 1 free” deal that is offered every night from I believe 5-6:30 pm and I am glad we did! We were all pleased with the service and meals even with our party of 8.

When you enter this Longs Shopping Center eatery you are welcomed with bright, lively colors and air-conditioned comfort. We got there a little after 5:30 and they had no problem rearranging some tables to accommodate all 8 of us together. The entrée section of the menu had a nice variety for those of us who are seafood lovers and the one of us who will not be named who isn’t (we are still working on him and he is slowly starting to eat some of it).

We all went for the special tonight of “buy 1 entrée get 1 free” and each entrée came with either a soup or salad. They have a full bar and a wide range of beers including local ones. I was also excited to see they served Arnold Palmers (half lemonade and half ice tea). All of their dishes use only the fresh Maui-grown vegetables, fruits and local seafood.

I started with the tossed green salad that had assorted Upcountry Maui organic greens, tomato, cucumber, and carrot with the ginger salad dressing. I loved this dressing- I meant to ask the brand or if it was house made so maybe I could find some to take home but alas I forget.

For my dinner I had the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi- Roasted Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice, Vegetable, Passion Fruit Sauce and Mango Salsa ($24.00). Mahi Mahi is firm, white meat and a delicate flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a nice and even coating of the macadamia nut. Nothing was overpowering or over or under cooked. I could have eaten this more than once on my trip to Maui. I would suggest this dish for everyone to try.

I also sampled off a few other peoples plate to taste what they had. Once item was the Crab Stuffed Snapper- Pan Roasted Crab Stuffed Snapper Filet over Mashed Potato with White Wine Caper Butter Sauce and Vegetable ($23.00). The sauce was pleasant and the capers didn’t over power. A few members of my family for the Grilled Fresh Catch of Mahi Mahi- Warm Tomato, Fresh Garden Herbs and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mashed Potato and Vegetable (M.P).

The food, service and atmosphere was great! I highly recommend on your next trip to Maui you check this place out and take part of the nightly special of “buy 1 entrée get 1 free”. Our bill came to under $200 for 8 people (we paid around $45 a couple) with, taxes, tip and alcohol all included in the price.
