Voted "Best Artist" & "Best Solo Artist" by The Pittsburgh City Paper, Joy Ike's music is an indie-infused mix of jazz, pop, and neo-soul and has often been compared to the likes of Fiona Apple, Corrine Bailey Rae and Norah Jones. The Pittsburgh grown, Nigerian singer/songwriter has only been writing and performing for 3 1/2 years but in that short amount of time has garnered much success in the independent music scene. Joy will be touring Baltimore for the time and making Teavolve Cafe & Lounge her first stop. Come out for an excellent show with local opener Teporah. Complimentary Admission

Their mission is to decompose all we know about sound, dimension and existence and reinvent it all into an untold array of marvelous things starting at the tip of your ears, then resonating on through your soul. Formed in 2003, The Kevin Robinson Ensemble (KREation) is lead by Baltimore born saxophonist, Kevin Robinson. The ensemble has challenged itself to explore the "art of conversation" through combining group improvisation, original compositions and rearrange jazz standards. Complimentary Admission
