Restaurants revamp kids menu and add kids eat free nights

Restaurants are responding to a decline in restaurant visits among groups with kids with revamped kids' menus, healthier food and kids-eat-free nights. These changes are hard to do well because restaurants must appeal to children’s’ palates while addressing parents' health concerns. This summer, P.F. Chang's China Bistro and The Cheesecake Factory added their first-ever kids' menus.

Many child-friendly fast-food and family-oriented chains are also changing the usual by offering healthier dishes and meals for children.
