Passing on this great support for an important cause- sounds like a great Happy Hour...
From November 1 to World AIDS Day (December 1), B&O American Brasserie is offering “Cocktails for a Cure,” a month long initiative to support the fight against HIV/AIDS. Each time a guest purchases any of four cocktails prepared by Head Bartender Brendan Dorr, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will donate $1 to the Whitman-Walker Clinic in Washington, DC. Doing good has never been so easy.
This year’s featured cocktails are $9 each and include:
- Grapefruit Spritz - Ketel One Citroen Vodka, Campari and fresh grapefruit juice sparked with club soda
- Bad Apple - Don Julio Silver Tequila, Lillet, Angostura bitters, apple juice and ginger beer
- Orange Blossom Fizz - Belvedere Orange, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, pineapple juice and sparkling wine
- Morning Daiquiri - Ten Cane Rum, Grand Marnier shaken with fresh lime juice and orange marmalade.
"'Cocktails for a Cure’is an opportunity for us to do our part in the fight against HIV/AIDS. This initiative raises funds for the thousands and thousands of those here in our community who are living with the disease,” said Toby Hughes, general manager of B&O American Brasserie.
