Restaurant 101: Where can I go out to eat for Thanksgiving Day dinner in Baltimore?

Thanksgiving Dinner is a big deal and can be a lot of work. If you aren’t in the mood to cook Thanksgiving Dinner then here is some places that are open on Thanksgiving Day:

  • Petit Louis- three-course menu for $39.95 featuring Chestnut Soup with Wild Mushrooms, Roasted Turkey with Pommes Purées, Local Greens, Cranberry Relish, and Apple and Cranberry Pain Perdu with Cognac Crème Anglaise (1 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • Prime Rib- $39.95 (Kids under 12 eat for $17.95) for soup or salad; roast turkey with stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, creamed spinach and sweet potatoes; and pumpkin, pecan or apple pie for dessert.
  • Alizee- traditional & gourmet buffet selectionsfrom 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for $39.95/adult; $15.95/child 6-10; 5 and under free
  • Cafe Troia- traditional organic turkey dinner for $28.95. Including organic turkey, stuffing, gourmet mashed potatoes, string beans & cranberry sauce. Also offering regular menu.(4 p.m. to 8 p.m)
  • Kali's Court- $49.95 for a four-course menu from 12 pm to 6 pm (portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank)
  • Grano- prix fixe Italian Thanksgiving feast for $65 (one seating at 4 p.m) includes complimentary bellinis and bloody marys but is BYOW
