Crepe du Jour is located in the charming Mt. Washington area and was established in 1997 by husband and wife team Mustapha and Donna Snoussi. The Mt. Washington restaurant opened in 2000.
It offers a cozy atmosphere with vivid colors and a friendly staff. You have the option of dining indoors, at one of the front outside café tables or on the year round heated terrace.
The dinner menu offers a variety of 16 savory crepes ranging in prince from $9 to $16. Each crepe offers a blend of fresh veggies, cheese and a protein (seafood, chicken, ham, sausage).
The crepe that won me over for my dinner was Crepe Lorraine with fresh asparagus, onion, brie cheese and prosciutto ham ($11). The presentation was simple yet divine. The asparagus was cooked perfectly (not to crispy yet not too mushy) and the rich, smoothness of the brie blended well with the delicate flavor of onions and the slight smokiness of the prosciutto.
